A journalist from a notable Azerbaijani TV channel has commented on social media about a video circulating that depicts the brutal murder of an elderly Armenian, welcoming the act and referring to it as a "worthy extermination."

We have very peaceful neighbors who have been dreaming of peace day and night for decades and have preached love towards us; however, the foundation for peace in our region has always been very shaky. There needs to be a more active promotion of peace, friendship, and love. We are lacking significantly in this area.
