Police Assault on Gerasim Vardanyan in Artashat Division

In the Artashat division of the RA Police, officers have beaten and used violence against Gerasim Vardanyan, who was detained near the Ararat Marz Administration.

Vardanyan, currently in the Artashat police division, informed Yerkir.am about the incident: “After being taken to the division, the police jumped on me and started hitting. Of course, I did not allow these thugs serving the regime of Nikol to indulge their mania as much as possible. Nevertheless, it is a fact that the crumbling regime wants to extend its life for at least a few more hours by any means, something we will not allow.”

He also noted that despite the cowardly behavior of the police officers who were hitting him, there were also respectful officers present who managed to calm the situation down. “The governor Garik and those so-called police officers who hit me will have to answer for this. After all this ends, let them think about how they will live in this region, how they will look at me, and where they will run when they meet me,” he added.
