Discussion on the Future Operations Roadmap of the Soldiers' Insurance Fund Held with Prime Minister

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting to discuss issues related to the future operations of the Soldiers' Insurance Fund. The Prime Minister reminded that the fund is the main tool through which social security issues for our soldiers who have died, become disabled, or gone missing while defending the homeland and their families should be ensured.

“Today, we need to discuss the 'roadmap' for the future activities of the fund and understand what role the Government will play here, what responsibilities the Central Bank has, and what issues we need to resolve in the near future,” Pashinyan said.

The Director of the Soldiers' Insurance Fund, Varuzhan Avetikyan, presented in detail the measures foreseen in the 'roadmap,' which are aimed at expanding the resources involved in the fund, effectively fulfilling obligations to beneficiaries, collaborating with donors, and addressing organizational issues.

A comprehensive exchange of views took place around the presented points, with various observations and suggestions being voiced.

Summarizing the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of implementing concrete steps to increase the fund's resources for the purpose of providing fast and efficient services to the beneficiaries. In this context, the head of the Government gave specific instructions.
