Are Various Aid Items Intended for Military Needs Being Sold?
Items intended for military needs, sent by the Armenian diaspora, have been put up for sale on online platforms such as list.am. This information was reported by the БУЧА Telegram channel.
According to the same source, most of these items are sent to Russia and sold there at significantly higher prices.
Military expert Karen Hovhannisyan has also addressed this issue. He wrote, "A similar announcement has been posted on a buying and selling website. It is not difficult to determine the origin of these items, how they ended up in the hands of sellers, whether they are indeed aid sent by compatriots from abroad, or if it is a matter of business. I must say that during the war, we would have cherished having such items available in Armenia and delivered as soon as possible. I hope that the law enforcement agencies will respond quickly, as this is a very sensitive issue that can become a topic for various manipulations."
The Telegram channel notes that Armenians abroad have sent significant aid to the embassies in their cities, which promised to deliver them to Armenia. However, this assistance has reportedly not reached its destination.
