Video: Forming a New Political Team - Artak Tovmasyan

Artak Tovmasyan, the head of the Tovmasyan Charity Foundation, announced that they are forming a new team made up largely of individuals who have not previously engaged in politics but have achieved significant success in their respective fields. He shared this during his address.

“Dear compatriots, today we are living through the most difficult period for our nation—a time of war and disgraceful capitulation, with thousands of victims and wounded, shattered destinies, and grieving families whose pain we share along with the entire Armenian nation. On the other hand, we witness a deep political, economic, and moral-psychological crisis—a growing atmosphere of hatred within society, a black-and-white division, unprofessional governance, years of endless failures, and the absence of dialogue between power and opposition on pan-Armenian issues.

I assure you that I could still list many more negative phenomena. How long, dear people, must we tolerate all of this? Until when must those who have enriched themselves at the expense of the people—those currently in power or previously in office—remain unpunished, while our army has been brought to this dire state and monopolists have turned into millionaires?

We no longer have the time or the right for that. Today, our nation faces one imperative, and that imperative has one name—DEVELOPMENT. Development in the military sector, development in education, science, and sports, development in healthcare and innovation, and everywhere.

Dear Armenians, we only deserve this, and together we will achieve it. For this, we need a few very simple actions. We must restore an atmosphere of unity, solidarity, and mutual respect in our homeland. We must no longer allow foreign forces to divide us. We must re-evaluate our national and spiritual values and our love for the Apostolic Church. We must create an atmosphere where every person can engage in their chosen work and profession, contributing their share to the country's development.

We will create a brilliant diplomatic team that will establish stable cooperation bridges with all geopolitical centers, and, of course, primarily with the Russian Federation. Together, we will open a new chapter in our country's history, filled with new achievements and successes, where we will build our people's prosperity together and overcome all difficulties together.

Dear people, the serious situation prevailing in our country and my absolute conviction to change it positively have guided me to make this very important and responsible decision. That is, to create a new political agenda and unite entirely new people around these ideas—people who have not largely engaged in politics before but have made significant achievements in their fields, and whose only motivation is not to receive a parliamentary mandate or hold positions, but to become participants and implementers of radical positive changes in the country.

We are open to cooperation with all individuals willing to work for the future of our country and will take responsibility for their entrusted areas. Our team will do everything possible and impossible to ensure that our people live better. But we will do this together with you, because practically, we can achieve real success only under conditions of joint work and dedication.

The truth, no matter how painful and unpopular it may be, you will learn from us, and in such an atmosphere of absolute mutual trust, we will overcome the hardest trials together. We will create a real power of the people, where each of you will be involved in the process of our homeland's development. This is one of the most important guarantees of our success.

Dear people, I have shared some of our team's programmatic principles and vision with you, but we will develop the complete program together with you during our regional and community visits. This approach will be applied for the first time in Armenia, and I am convinced that together we will introduce many innovations in our country. So, let us turn words into action. For you, dear people, and may God protect us all,” the message says.
