Prime Minister Pays Tribute to Earthquake Victims
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the earthquake-affected areas of Gyumri, Shirakamut, Spitak, and Vanadzor to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the devastating earthquake that struck on December 7, 1988.
At 11:41 AM, Pashinyan participated in a memorial service in Gyumri to honor the innocent victims of the earthquake, laying a wreath in their memory.
Following this, the Prime Minister traveled to Shirakamut village in the Lori Province, which is near the earthquake's epicenter. He paid tribute to the earthquake victims by placing a wreath at a memorial-cross situated near the village's community center.
In Spitak and Vanadzor, the Prime Minister also laid wreaths at monuments dedicated to the victims of the earthquake and participated in candle-lighting ceremonies.
