Nikol Pashinyan Arrives in Gyumri

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has arrived in Gyumri and is participating in a ceremony to lay a wreath at the monument dedicated to the innocent victims of the devastating earthquake of 1988, near the St. Savior Church, reports Gala TV.

Unlike previous years, strict security measures have been implemented this time in Gyumri, with several central streets of the city closed off.

Local and regional officials are also taking part in the ceremony. Nikol Pashinyan declined to answer reporters' questions.

Prior to this, a service was held at St. Yotverk Church in Gyumri.
