Israel Prepares for Third Wave of Coronavirus

In Israel, a new outbreak of coronavirus is expected after the religious holidays. The pandemic shows a pattern of retreat and then resurgence. A seasonal flu outbreak is also anticipated in December, and the country’s clinics are preparing to confront two serious issues at once.

Experts are convinced that avoiding the third wave will be impossible, forcing people to celebrate the New Year’s holidays at home. Palestine will also be closed during the holiday period.

In the Gaza Strip, schools and universities have already been closed, and weddings and attendance at funerals have been prohibited. Bethlehem, the birthplace of Christ, will be classified as a “red zone.”
