Collision Between BMW and Lada Priora Near Kapan Airport Leaves Injured in Serious Condition

On December 5, at 22:59, the Syunik regional crisis management center received a report of a traffic accident near Kapan Airport.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a collision occurred between a BMW (driver: Artak T., born in 1987) and a Lada Priora (driver: Sasun G., born in 1990).

Rescue workers extricated the driver of the BMW and passenger Hrayr H., as well as the driver of the Lada Priora and passenger Vladimir A. (born in 1990) using specialized equipment. They were hospitalized at Kapan Medical Center, where doctors assessed their condition as serious.

Rescue teams disabled the vehicles and closed the valves on the gas cylinders.
