Chemical Testing of Drinking Water Conducted in Stepanakert at 1 PM

Under the initiative of Mher Harutyunyan, head of the City Division of the Emergency Situations Ministry in Stepanakert, an inspection visit was conducted on December 5 at the filtration plants of the 'Water Sewage' LLC.

Accompanied by the company's chief engineer, Gagik Poghosyan, the quality of the water was checked on-site, refuting the concerns of the residents regarding its quality. Specialists in the field conduct the chemical testing of water every hour. This includes temperature measurement, assessing the taste and smell of the water, and checking levels of nitrites, ammonia, and turbidity.

In addition, the bacterial laboratory conducts testing of water coming from the daily regulated reservoirs in different zones. The results of the research are usually clear within a day. Currently, there are no issues concerning the quality of drinking water supplied to Stepanakert. Should any problems arise, preventative measures will be taken, and an appropriate announcement will be made.
