Vladimir Putin Included in Bloomberg's 2020 List of 'Key Figures'
The American agency Bloomberg has compiled a list of influential individuals deemed "worthy of special attention," among whom is also Russian President Vladimir Putin. As reported by RIA Novosti, the list, consisting of 50 people, includes those who have predominantly defined the "unprecedented" year of 2020.
The list is divided into five sections: business, politics, entertainment, finance, science, and technology. In each section, according to the agency, individuals are represented whose achievements deserve attention.
The list features a diverse range of figures, such as Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, the U.S. Chief Infectious Disease Specialist Anthony Fauci, and singer Billie Eilish. In addition to Putin, other world leaders included are U.S. President Donald Trump, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
Besides political figures, the list also includes other individuals such as Alphabet's co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Tesla founder Elon Musk, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
