Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated that Russia has no fundamental disagreements with Turkey. The minister emphasized that Russian-Turkish relations demonstrate how two independent states can cooperate to implement their policies.
Lavrov did not conceal that there are certain disagreements between the two countries, but he insisted that when both parties are open to cooperation, these can be overcome. “Currently, our presidents have managed to develop a cooperation model that smooths out these disagreements,” said Sergey Lavrov, adding that “in all such cases, Russia and Turkey find points of contact and ways to coordinate efforts, as we are witnessing now in Nagorno-Karabakh.”
