I Hope Pashinyan and Manukyan Will Make Every Effort to Avoid Civil War: Levon Ter-Petrosyan

Armenia's First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan expressed his deep concern regarding the increasingly heated struggle for power, which, regardless of the intentions of the conflicting parties, could lead to a civil war due to any spontaneous act of violence or provocation. This was reported by the spokesperson for the First President of Armenia, Arman Musinyan.

“Levon Ter-Petrosyan expresses his deep concern over the escalating struggle for power, which could, even independent of the will of the conflicting parties, result in a civil war due to any random act of violence or provocation. Such an outcome would signal not only the end of Artsakh but also the end of Armenian statehood. The First President simultaneously hopes that Nikol Pashinyan and Vahe Manukyan, fully aware of this danger, will make every effort to avoid the escalation of events in this direction,” said Musinyan.
