Araik Harutyunyan Meets with Relatives of Missing and Captured Persons

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, met with the relatives of servicemen and civilians who are missing or have been captured, alongside Rustam Muradov, the commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Artsakh. This was reported by the President of Artsakh on his Facebook page.

“I sincerely thanked General Muradov, who personally visited Azerbaijan, met with some of our prisoners of war on site, and provided us with their names and surnames. Verified information about their well-being is currently being communicated to their relatives,” wrote Harutyunyan.

The President of Artsakh emphasized that Azerbaijan, at this moment, has confirmed fewer names of individuals in captivity than the irrefutable evidence suggests.

“According to the agreement reached, we will continue the ongoing work to locate all captured individuals and the bodies of the deceased as soon as possible,” noted Harutyunyan.
