Resigned MP to Be Appointed Deputy Governor of Armavir

The MP from the 'My Step' bloc, Argishti Mekhakyan, who has resigned his mandate, is set to be appointed as the Deputy Governor of Armavir. He announced this on his Facebook page.

“I would also like to add that I will continue my professional activities in my native region, Armavir, as deputy governor,” he noted in a post accompanying his announcement.

It was previously reported that Argishti Mekhakyan had resigned his mandate. Notably, he is the son of the legendary commander Mekhak Mekhakyan, who liberated Artsakh.
