How Much Have Basic Necessities Increased in Price: 'Joxovurd'
‘Joxovurd’ newspaper writes that in Armenia, in November, compared to October, food products and non-alcoholic beverages have increased by 2.8%. This is mainly attributed to price increases ranging from 1.9% to 20.5% for fruits, dairy products, sugar and sugar products, oils, and vegetables.
For example, the increase in vegetable prices has reached 20.5%. Fruits have risen in price by 1.9%. There has also been an increase in the dairy products, cheese, and egg markets, where inflation has been reported at 2%. For instance, eggs have increased by 7.6% within a month, while the price of sugar in November, compared to October, has risen by 2%.
The Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia has recorded a 0.5% increase in the fish and seafood markets. It should be noted that alcoholic beverages and tobacco have risen by 0.4% over the month.
ArmLur.am reported that in November, compared to October, the prices of baked goods and cereals have grown by 0.2%. Conversely, coffee, tea, and cocoa prices have decreased by 0.1%. Meanwhile, the prices in the meat and non-alcoholic beverage markets have remained unchanged compared to the previous month.
