Director of Ambulance Service Responds to Naira Zohrabyan's Post

Member of Parliament from the Prosperous Armenia faction, Naira Zohrabyan, wrote on her Facebook page yesterday that if the rumors are true about police officers being transported by ambulance vehicles at this moment, then the mayor will also be held accountable.

In an interview with ArmDaily.am, the director of Ambulance Service, Taguhi Stepanyan, stated that there is no such thing. “If something is related specifically to the ambulance service in Yerevan, that is an unfounded statement that should be excluded. How could such a thing happen? Doesn’t the police have vehicles to transport their officers? Do they need to rely on the Yerevan ambulance service? The Yerevan ambulance service has entirely different functions and tasks to perform at this time, and not just that. Therefore, we have never participated in such actions,” she emphasized.
