Concerns About Vazgen Manukyan's Candidacy from Abroad: 'Iravunk'
WRed
The newspaper 'Iravunk' reports: 'Despite a certain consensus around the opposition's unified candidate, Vazgen Manukyan, some representatives from the opposition and abroad have reservations. Political circles in Russia support Manukyan's candidacy to the extent that they do not see any other prominent candidate in Armenia.
For a long time, Russia has been on the lookout for a candidate but has not found one that it could formally endorse. Hence, according to our information, the Russian elite has also placed its bet on an interim candidate until the snap elections, when the political landscape will be clearer.'
