Artsakh President Hosts Russian Armed Forces Engineering Troops Commander Yuri Stavitsky
On December 4, the President of the Republic of Artsakh Araik Harutyunyan received a delegation led by Lieutenant General Yuri Stavitsky, the Commander of the Engineering Troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who arrived in Artsakh on a working visit.
Welcoming the guests, the head of state emphasized that the resolution of internal and external security issues is crucial for the stable and secure development of Artsakh. He noted that there is a significant volume of coordinated work being conducted daily with the Russian military contingent carrying out peacekeeping missions in Artsakh.
In this context, President Harutyunyan appreciated Yuri Stavitsky's visit to Artsakh, highlighting that it would provide the opportunity to address new challenges at a practical level.
Yuri Stavitsky thanked President Harutyunyan for the warm reception and expressed his readiness to discuss specific issues on the working agenda.
Attendees of the meeting included Vitaly Balasanyan, Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh, Karen Sargsyan, Director of the State Emergency Service of Artsakh, along with other officials.
