Around 300 Apartments to Be Commissioned in Stepanakert, President of Artsakh Conducts Working Visit

The President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, conducted a working visit on December 4 to several construction sites in the capital and provided new instructions regarding the timelines for commissioning various facilities.

According to the press service of the President of the Republic of Artsakh, the president noted that in the post-war period, the number one social issue for the Republic is housing, and in the coming years, the government will focus its main efforts on providing housing for all citizens who have become homeless.

“According to President Harutyunyan's instructions, multi-apartment buildings being constructed in various parts of Stepanakert, totaling around 300 apartments, will be commissioned by the first half of next year, taking into account the increase in workforce. The program will also include certain administrative buildings that will be transformed into residential buildings following reconstruction,” the statement reads.

During the working visit, the president also visited the closed joint-stock company “Artsakhcat,” where he familiarized himself with the operating conditions of the production facility and thanked the staff for ensuring the continuity of production processes during the difficult wartime period and for providing fresh dairy products to the population.

During the visit, Arayik Harutyunyan was accompanied by Arsen Mikayelyan, the Chairman of the Board of Haybusinessbank, and Aram Sarkisyan, the Minister of Urban Development of Artsakh.
