Armen Sarkissian Offers Condolences on the Passing of Former French President

Republican President Armen Sarkissian has sent a condolence telegram to French President Emmanuel Macron regarding the passing of former French President and Nansen Refugee Award laureate Valéry Giscard d'Estaing.

President Sarkissian specifically emphasized that Valéry Giscard d'Estaing made a unique contribution to the strengthening of France’s statehood, democracy, and both domestic and foreign policy, leaving no effort spared in promoting the country's progress and prosperity.

President Sarkissian expressed condolences and solidarity on behalf of the Armenian people and himself to President Macron and the friendly people of France.
