Urgent Call to Complete Grape Vineyard Planting Works: Ministry of Economy

The Ministry of Economy of Armenia urges to promptly finalize the planting of vineyards. According to information provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, continuous negative temperatures are expected during night hours in almost all regions of the republic, with a predicted drop in air temperatures in the third decade of December, reaching as low as -10 to -12°C at night. Therefore, we urge to complete the planting activities in the Ararat Plain and pre-mountainous areas for grape vineyards.

Additionally, it is recommended to apply a 3% Bordeaux mixture solution in fruit-bearing orchards after leaf fall.
