The Roads in Armenia Are Mainly Passable
The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that the roads in Armenia are mainly passable. However, the roads leading to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in the Aragatsotn region are difficult to traverse.
There is fog in the Aragatsotn region at Aragats and Aparan, in the Shirak region at Ashotsk and Amasia, and in the Kotayk region in the city of Hrazdan.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.
Based on information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the decision to prohibit the entry of foreigners into Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to cargo transportation.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
