The NSS Officer Leaves the System: His Statement

An officer of the National Security Service, Major Grigori Tavadyan, has announced through a Facebook post that he is resigning from his position at the NSS at his own request.

“As a result of the incompetent and shortsighted governance of the country's Prime Minister, our society has become extremely polarized. We have lost a part of our great homeland that was never occupied by the enemy, and a generation that has never experienced defeat. Today, more than ever, the political inability of the country’s leader is devastating in addressing the numerous problems facing our homeland, the most urgent of which are certainly the issues of missing persons and prisoners,” wrote the NSS officer.
