"Speculations Regarding the Mass Departure of NSS Employees Do Not Correspond to Reality," NSS
The National Security Service (NSS) has issued a statement regarding the spread of misinformation about its employees' mass departure from the system, based on a declaration from a former NSS employee and subsequent press publications.
In light of the statement made by Grigor Tavadyan, a former employee of the NSS, on his personal page on the social media site www.facebook.com, the publications and speculations regarding NSS employees mass exiting the system are unfounded.
Moreover, it should be noted that the aforementioned former employee’s official duties were terminated based on his report submitted on November 16, in which he explicitly stated: “I request to be discharged from military service in accordance with my application, for the purpose of taking up other employment.”
Once again denying the false news regarding the mass departure of NSS employees, we would like to inform that from November 10, 2020, until now, only 5 employees have been discharged due to reaching retirement age, 3 employees for the purpose of taking up other employment, and the official duties of our eternally heroic colleagues who perished in the military actions in the Artsakh Republic have also been terminated.
Based on the above, we kindly ask our esteemed colleagues in the mass media to refrain from publishing unverified information and making various comments including them.
