The opposition has nominated former Prime Minister Vazgen Manukyan as their unified candidate for the position of Prime Minister. The leader of the ‘Homeland’ party, Arthur Vanetsyan, stated during a conversation with reporters that Manukyan's role will be to lead the country out of the current difficult situation and to organize free and fair parliamentary elections in a year, in which Manukyan will not participate or support any candidate.
According to Vanetsyan, further details will be announced at a rally scheduled for Saturday at 3:00 PM. He also added, 'Nikol Pashinyan's continued hold on power for even one more minute poses a threat to national security.'
