Azerbaijan imported $256 million worth of weapons and military equipment from Turkey between January and November 2020.

According to a report by Armenpress, citing the Turkish news agency Yeni Şafak, arms exports from Turkey to Azerbaijan increased by 600% over the past 11 months.

Azerbaijan actively utilized the munitions and military technologies imported from Turkey during the Nagorno-Karabakh war. As reported by Yeni Şafak, products from the Turkish defense industry, which were actively used by Azerbaijan, have captured global attention. Many countries reached out to Turkey after the Nagorno-Karabakh war, seeking to purchase locally and nationally produced goods.
