‘Enlightened Armenia’ has its Prime Minister candidate: Gevorg Gorgisyan

‘Enlightened Armenia’ has its Prime Minister candidate. In an interview with Aysor.am, Gevorg Gorgisyan, a member of the ‘Enlightened Armenia’ faction, stated, “The time will come, and we will talk about it.”

In response to the question of whether Vazgen Manukyan is an acceptable candidate for them, he replied, “I do not know Vazgen Manukyan, I have not communicated with him. We have not yet had any discussions regarding his candidacy.”

The parliament member also noted that the question of Manukyan's nomination has not been discussed with them. “Our candidate remains in force. When we have discussions, we will respond accordingly. But at this stage, nothing has been discussed with us,” he said.

Gorgisyan also emphasized that any political force has the right to have its Prime Minister candidate. It should be noted that the council of the Homeland Salvation Movement has held a session, during which it was decided that the unified Prime Minister candidate would be Vazgen Manukyan.
