Artak Hovhannisyan's Post on His Son Albert Hovhannisyan

During the aggression from Azerbaijan, the father of the fallen hero Albert Hovhannisyan, Artak Hovhannisyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "Dear compatriots, during these days my family and I have been receiving numerous letters and calls, having meetings and interviews which, on one hand, attempt to ease our irrevocable grief and pain, while on the other hand, inflame the wound that is unlikely to heal.

Reading the stories of every soldier and volunteer returning home during these days and watching videos, I am moved, my eyes fill with tears, wishing a thousand blessings upon those families. Welcome back, boys!

Today, and never, my hero artillery son— the bright boy in the photo, Albert— will not knock on the surprise door, will not enter our home, will not embrace us. But we will always be waiting for you, my son; you will always be with us, you are in our minds, in our memories, in our hearts. Your and your heroic friends' exploits are immortal…"
