Armenian Soldiers Awarded State Honors by Presidential Decree

In recognition of their contributions to the defense of the homeland and ensuring security, as well as for their courage and skill demonstrated during combat operations, the following soldiers of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia have been awarded state honors by a decree of the President of Armenia.

“Based on the Prime Minister’s recommendation, in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution and Article 5.3, Part 1 of the Law on State Awards and Honorary Titles of the Republic of Armenia:

• For their contributions to the defense of the homeland and ensuring security, as well as for their courage and skill during combat operations, the following soldiers from the Ministry of Defense of Armenia have been awarded:
• Order of the Combat Cross, 1st Class: Arsen Seryozha Margaryan, conscript soldier, Private, Unit No. N
• Order of the Combat Cross, 2nd Class: Hamlet Parghevi Levonyan, commander of Unit No. N, Lieutenant Colonel; Gagik Gurgeni Davtyan, conscript soldier, Sergeant; Emin Haiki Yeritsyan, conscript soldier, Sergeant; Hrayer Sahaki Sahakyan, conscript soldier, Private
• Medal for Courage: Vahe Seryozha Hayrapetian, officer, Major; Vahagn Marati Aghabekyan, head of service, Major; Hayk Hranti Nikoghosyan, deputy commander of unit No. N, Major
• Medal for Services to the Homeland, 2nd Class: Vardan Ashoti Gushchyan, head of service, Medical Services Major
• Combat Service Medal: Arman Rubiki Babajanyan, battalion commander, Major
