All telecom operators in Armenia will soon have the opportunity to operate in Artsakh

Dear compatriots,

I have received the delegation led by Haik and Alexander Yesayan, directors of "Telecom Armenia" operating under the Beeline brand, as part of our working agenda. We have discussed issues related to the development of the telecommunications sector in Artsakh. We have reached an agreement on cooperation, under which extensive technical and professional assistance will be provided, significantly improving the quality of communication services in Artsakh.

By the way, in the near future, all telecom operators operating in Armenia will be given the opportunity to operate in Artsakh. In accordance with my instructions, the Government is conducting intensive negotiations in this direction, which should generally be considered successful. Therefore, I can assure you that by the beginning of the coming year, we will have communication services that are comparable in quality and prices to those provided in Armenia, including mobile services without roaming surcharges.

P.S. The communication issues that have arisen in Artsakh in recent weeks due to technical reasons will mostly be resolved by the end of the day. This was stated in the announcement made by the President of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan.
