Urgent Need to Organize the Return of Prisoners and Bodies of the Deceased, Says Pashinyan
The issue of exchanging prisoners and the return of remains is urgent for the Armenian side, stated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the CSTO summit.
“Violence against prisoners of war and other detained individuals must be excluded,” said Pashinyan, adding that the Armenian side is ready to intensify efforts towards their exchange.
Commenting on the one and a half months of war in Artsakh, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Vladimir Putin, stating, “I want to emphasize the unique role of the President of Russia. Throughout all 44 days of the war, we have been in constant contact and discussed the necessary steps for stopping the war and ensuring the protection of people. We are still working with him to resolve issues such as the exchange of prisoners and the search for the missing.”
