Two Soldiers Die in Ammunition Explosion During Transfer at Military Base

On December 1, at a military base located in the eastern direction of the Defense Army, two soldiers lost their lives due to an explosion while transferring ammunition during the performance of their official duties. The deceased soldiers have been identified as Jirayr Vachiki Matevosyan (born in 2001) and Gegham Meruzhani Hovhannisyan (born in 2001). This information has been reported by the Defense Army.

An investigation is underway to clarify the circumstances of the incident. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh expresses its deep sorrow over this loss and extends its support to the families, relatives, and comrades of the deceased soldiers.
