Teachers Can Submit Required Documents to Obtain Qualification Categories: Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia

Informed for teachers, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia announces that the necessary documents for obtaining the qualification category of a teacher in a general education institution will be accepted until December 11, 2020, inclusive. The process will resume on January 14, 2021.

Recall that by the order of the Minister of Education and Science dated August 6, 2019, number 03-N, changes have occurred in the list of documents required for the granting of qualification categories, as established by the appendices of the order number 1031-N dated August 15, 2013.

Firstly, the requirement to be part of the textbook evaluation commission has been removed from the mandatory list of documents; instead, a new point has been added stating that the teacher must have had a student awarded with a diploma or commendation in the republican phase of subject Olympiads in the subject taught during the last three years, or a medal in international Olympiads.
