Peacekeepers Clear School Grounds in Stepanakert
During the past day, the investigation and clearance of explosive objects from the territory of Stepanakert’s No. 10 secondary school have been completed, reports the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Russian servicemen from the Humanitarian Mine Clearance Center conducted checks for explosive materials within the school and its surrounding area. Additionally, specialists from the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides ensured the restoration of electricity and heating, as well as the safe delivery of necessary school supplies and materials.
In the near future, with the support of Russian peacekeepers, the opening of other educational institutions is planned.
Overall, engineering units in Nagorno-Karabakh have cleared over 34 hectares of land, checked approximately 12 kilometers of roads, inspected more than 110 buildings and social facilities, and identified and neutralized 1,077 explosive objects.
