Heads of Governments of EAEU Countries to Discuss Eurasian Integration on December 4
The heads of governments of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries will discuss the strategic directions of Eurasian integration until 2025 during the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIGC) on December 4, as announced by Iya Malkina, assistant to the chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), according to TASS.
“The main issues on the agenda will be the strategic directions for the development of Eurasian integration until 2025, as well as the list of exclusions and restrictions for the Union’s internal market that are to be eliminated in 2021-2022,” she said.
According to her, the EIGC will also discuss the transportation of scrap and waste of ferrous and non-ferrous metals by railway from Kazakhstan to other countries of the Union, and will determine the date for the next EIGC meeting.
