In These Difficult Times, We Must Be United and Consolidate Our National Potential: Prime Minister Hosts the Djorkaeff Brothers

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today hosted Yuri Djorkaeff, the ambassador of goodwill for the sake of Armenia and world-renowned Armenian footballer, as well as Denis Djorkaeff, advisor to the President of the Football Federation of Armenia and Deputy Mayor of the French town of Dessin. Also present at the meeting was Zareh Sinanyan, the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Djorkaeff brothers for being by the side of Armenia and Artsakh during this difficult period. “I am pleased to welcome you once again. The work and support that the Djorkaeff family provides for Armenia and Artsakh is very important. In these challenging times, we must be united and consolidate our national potential to overcome difficulties and move forward. We need to be more active and more closely interconnected,” Pashinyan stated.

Yuri Djorkaeff thanked the Prime Minister for his warm words, emphasizing that the Armenian community in France will always stand by the Armenian people, Armenia, and Artsakh. “Mr. Prime Minister, we are here today to provide humanitarian and moral support and also to testify to the strong Armenian-French ties. We will continue our commitment and will be by your side,” he said.

The meeting addressed issues related to consolidating national potential in the current situation, strengthening Armenia-Diaspora-Artsakh connections, and enhancing Armenian-French friendly relations, among other topics.
