I Have Decided to Move to Artsakh and I Am Ready to Help Artsakh to the Best of My Ability: Tandilyan

Former Armenian National Assembly member Mane Tandilyan made a post on her Facebook page:

“LIVING ARTSAKH

Dear Armenian people,

Our country is currently experiencing one of the most difficult periods in our history. Our pain is deep and heavy, unimaginable—the sorrow of the parents and relatives of our heroic soldiers...

Our heroic boys did not spare their lives for Artsakh, therefore, Artsakh must live; it is also our duty to ensure the existence of Artsakh. After what has happened, it is very difficult to continue to live, to think, to search for solutions, but we must... we are obliged to recover, to rethink our values, not to surrender and not to give up on the dream of having a strong, smart, powerful Armenia and Artsakh, turning that dream into measurable actions and results every day. Otherwise, what is the meaning of our existence after all this?

We have lost the battle, but the war is not over. In the new battle, we must live, develop, and strengthen for the sake of a final victory.

Dear compatriots, as I have shared before, I have health issues that required me to travel abroad for treatment in October, but the war made decisions for many of us. Immediately after the war ended, I visited Artsakh. After familiarizing myself with the situation, it became clear to me that I would interrupt my treatment and move to live in Artsakh. At that time, I initiated a meeting with the President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, informing him of my decision to relocate to Artsakh and that I am ready to assist Artsakh and its people to the best of my ability. The President was pleased to hear that and asked me to consider several options.

I am now in Artsakh, and I will have the opportunity to inform you about my future plans. However, I am confident that regardless of the format or status I have, I have already decided on my upcoming actions—to live and ensure the existence of Artsakh in Armenian...
