Ani Samsonyan Appeals to the Chair of the OSCE PA's Third Committee Regarding Prisoners of War

Member of the Armenian National Assembly's 'Enlightened Armenia' faction, Ani Samsonyan, has announced on her Facebook page that she has appealed to the chair of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's Third Committee regarding the issue of prisoners of war.

“As a member of the Armenian delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, I have addressed Kyriakos Hadjiani (the Cypriot delegate), the chair of the Third Committee on Democracy, Human Rights, and Humanitarian Issues about our prisoners of war. Along with my letter, I have also provided videos that demonstrate inhumane treatment of Armenian prisoners of war. Throughout the war, the OSCE PA failed to make the military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan a subject of special discussion, despite the fact that during one of the meetings, in response to my speech, the Assembly’s Secretary General Roberto Montella committed to organizing such a discussion. We hope that under the leadership of our Cypriot colleague, the Third Committee will consider the issue of prisoners of war,” wrote Samsonyan.
