Armen Sarkissian Appeals to Vladimir Putin on the Return of Prisoners of War and Hostages from Azerbaijan

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has addressed the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, regarding the return of prisoners of war and hostages held by Azerbaijan.

In his letter, President Sarkissian specifically notes that the Armenian public and diaspora are deeply concerned about the situation surrounding the soldiers and civilians captured by Azerbaijan.

The mediation of the Russian President would be a significant support in resolving the extremely sensitive issue of returning our military personnel and civilians captured by Azerbaijan, as well as the bodies of those who have fallen.
