Experts from the International Mine Action Centre of the Russian Defense Ministry have destroyed 100 explosive objects in Nagorno-Karabakh in one day, and cleared an additional 3 km of the Shushi-Lisagor road, according to reports from the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Russian engineering units are conducting engineering reconnaissance and demining between peacekeeping observation posts, as well as near residential areas and social infrastructure sites. The center's specialists have carried out engineering reconnaissance and removed explosive objects from the 3 km section of the Shushi-Lisagor road. Over 100 explosive items were discovered in one day, which were transported to a specially equipped training ground and destroyed," stated the Russian Defense Ministry on its website.

The ministry reports that during peacekeeping operations, Russian engineering units in Nagorno-Karabakh have cleared more than 24 hectares of land and more than 8 km of road, discovering and neutralizing over 750 explosive objects. Weapons that cannot be transported to the training ground are destroyed on-site, with safety measures ensured in advance.
