Lavrov and Ayvazyan Discuss Armenia's FM Visit to Moscow via Phone

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Armenian counterpart Ara Ayvazyan have discussed, via telephone, the upcoming visit of the Armenian minister to Moscow, scheduled for December 7, according to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Information Department.

The document indicates that "a telephone conversation took place on November 28 between the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan," reports RIA Novosti.

"The parties discussed the progress of the implementation of the provisions of the statement made by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on November 9 of this year, as well as the upcoming working visit of the head of Armenia’s foreign affairs agency to Moscow on December 7 of this year," the statement adds.
