Iran's Foreign Minister Criticizes Those Who Remain Passive in the Fight Against Terrorism

Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has criticized all those who "remain passive in the fight against terrorism and instead hide behind calls for restraint," according to Tasnim News Agency.

“The terrorist attack on our scientist was undoubtedly planned by the terrorist regime and executed by their accomplices. It is shameful that some refuse to stand against terrorism and hide behind calls for restraint. Impunity encourages the terrorist regime, which has aggression in its DNA,” Zarif wrote on Twitter.

The attack on Mohsen Fakhrizadeh took place on November 27. He sustained severe injuries during clashes between armed individuals and his security personnel and later died in the hospital.

Earlier, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stated that the assassination of Fakhrizadeh would not go unanswered, while also warning that "Tehran would not fall into the trap set by the Zionist regime."

“Iran is smart and does not intend to fall into the trap of the Zionists' schemes. Iran is aware of the enemy's intentions and will not allow them to achieve their goals,” Rouhani remarked.
