The Village Head of Sotk Confirms Azerbaijanis Have Entered the Sotk Mine Area; Negotiations Underway

The Village Head of Sotk, Hakob Avetyan, confirms that Azerbaijanis have entered the territory of the Sotk mine.

"The information is correct, but it is not the case that there are shootings or attacks at this moment. They have come, positioned themselves, and demanded the area to be cleared. Negotiations are currently underway," Avetyan said in an interview with Aysor.am.

He noted that without Russian peacekeepers, the situation cannot end well.

According to Avetyan, mine employees are leaving the area, but there is no threat to anyone.
