Mistakes Are Not At A Level That Would Require The Entire Government To Resign - Babken Tunyan

“No one has said that the lands surrendered in Artsakh can be brought back with staff changes,” said Babken Tunyan, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Issues, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly today.

In response to a question from a media outlet about why the government does not resign despite its failures across all sectors—education, foreign relations, healthcare, and the economy—Tunyan replied, “The answer to your question is within your question. You believe that there has been failure in all areas; we believe that we have made many mistakes, but those mistakes are not at a level that would require the entire government to resign.”

According to Tunyan, it cannot be said that the economic sector has failed, as the difficulties in this area were brought about by the coronavirus and the war. “That is to say, we are dealing with a completely force majeure situation here.”
