Claims of Misuse of Funds from the Foundation for Bonuses: Tunyan
The individuals who transferred the funds were well aware of their intended purpose, and the foundation does not have the direct right to spend the money for any other purpose, according to Babken Tunyan, a member of the My Step alliance, during a conversation with journalists regarding the transfer of funds from the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund to the state budget.
"There is a state budget that covers all expenses, and this is a normal process; formally, it should be like this. The foundation's accounting will be summarized, and the Government will also publish the amount of bonuses for the executive if necessary, along with how much employees in both the executive and legislative branches have contributed to the fund from their salaries. In other words, the claim that people sent money to the foundation and that the foundation's funds were used for bonuses is simply a manipulation," the MP noted.
