Nikol Pashinyan Opens Up: Details from the Meeting with Parents
The newspaper "Jamanak" reports that new details have emerged about the meeting between the relatives of missing soldiers and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, which took place on November 23. According to our information, the parents present at the meeting were not very satisfied, as they did not receive clear answers.
Moreover, it has been reported that the responses to many of the parents' questions were vague, and the Prime Minister also spoke about other topics, trying to explain why things turned out the way they did.
When parents asked why they were unable to find the missing soldiers or their remains, Pashinyan explained that the areas where search operations should be conducted are under the control of Azerbaijan, and searches can only take place with their permission.
Pashinyan also candidly stated that he would need to reach out to Russian President Vladimir Putin to organize these search operations with Russian mediation.
However, the meeting was not solely with Pashinyan; on November 23, the relatives of missing servicemen also met with Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan, listened to him, but again left dissatisfied. Another group of parents met with the Prime Minister yesterday, and he announced that the search operations have already begun.
