Negotiation Process Must Be Fully Restored: Pashinyan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hopes for the rapid restoration of the full functionality of the OSCE Minsk Group to continue negotiations regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. In an interview with TASS, he mentioned that he is in close contact with the co-chairs.
“I am in constant contact with the President of Russia. Recently, I had a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron. You know that there is an electoral process ongoing in the United States. I hope that the full functionality of the OSCE Minsk Group will be restored very quickly,” Pashinyan said.
“The negotiation process must be fully restored,” the Armenian Prime Minister emphasized. At the same time, he noted that there are more urgent matters that need to be resolved at this time. “I mean the complete exchange of prisoners and detained individuals. There are issues regarding the missing persons and the exchange of bodies of those killed. I believe that at this moment we should focus specifically on these issues,” Pashinyan added.
