Hrant Bagratyan: They Said British Petroleum Urged the Armenian President Not to Strike the Oil Pipeline
For some reason, we are hitting Ganja in peace, but I don’t understand why we are not striking the oil pipeline. This was stated by former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan during a meeting with reporters today, November 25.
“Then I am told that British Petroleum had strongly requested the Armenian President not to strike the oil pipeline. If we hit the pipeline, there is one oil pipeline and two gas pipelines, and all of that will stop, our strategic partner would be pleased,” he said.
Bagratyan expressed confidence that if the right weapons had been acquired and the war had been organized properly, we would not have lost. “They could have captured around 1000 square kilometers and halted due to excessive casualties. Next, I cannot imagine that the soldiers did not have bulletproof vests and helmets,” he added.
The former prime minister noted that the Azerbaijanis were not a significant force in this war. “If they were a force, why did the war last 45 days in general?”
