Prime Minister Introduces Newly Appointed Minister of Emergency Situations
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Ministry of Emergency Situations and introduced the newly appointed minister, Andranik Piloyan, to the staff. Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude to the former minister Felix Tsolakyan for his work and wished success to the newly appointed minister Andranik Piloyan in his future endeavors. This was reported by the Government.
In his speech, the Prime Minister particularly noted that the field and the nature of work are entirely new for Andranik Piloyan, since he is moving to the Ministry of Emergency Situations from the military. “However, in essence, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Rescue Service are also part of our Armed Forces, and in that regard, we can say that the change is not so significant, and there are similar tasks within the Ministry of Emergency Situations as well,” he stated.
Nikol Pashinyan also emphasized that during the war, the subdivisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations played a very active role, thanked them for their contributions, and added, “I consider it important that the Rescue Service and, in general, the Ministry of Emergency Situations develop further, taking into account our newly emerged challenges and needs, of course relying on everything that has effectively existed up to this point.”
Former Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan thanked the Prime Minister for their joint work and wished success to the newly appointed minister in his position. “When you presented me here as a minister, I said that I am ready to serve the Motherland and the people; we have done our best. Indeed, the last eight months have been very difficult, and the system has worked like clockwork,” Felix Tsolakyan remarked in his speech.
Andranik Piloyan, for his part, expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the high trust and mentioned, “Since this field is new to me and I am transferring from the military here, I believe that I will try to integrate the good and positive experiences I had in the army here as well. The advancements made under Mr. Tsolakyan's leadership in this structure will be something I will aim to augment. In any case, I have come here at your request, solely on the condition that I can be helpful to my nation and our Motherland.”
